Children’s Pencil Portraits
Children’s portraits are my favorite thing to draw. These portraits of my children and grandchildren are all done in pencil, usually using my own photographs for reference. Please contact me if you are interested in commissioning a portrait.
Photography
My current camera is a Nikon D750. I love photographing people. I’ve photographed newborns, engagements, maternity, family and senior portraits. I do not photograph weddings.
I also love photographing birds, flowers and landscapes. My photography can be used as content for client’s websites and social media.
I use my own photos as reference material for my artwork.
Pressed Flower Art
My newest love is pressing flowers. I’ve combined my love for flowers with my love for art. Most flowers are from my garden, but I do occasionally go foraging for wildflowers in the spring time.
Some of these may soon be available in local giftshops. I will update that information if and when it happens. For now I plan to sell online via my Etsy Shop, Pressed Petals Studio.
Web Design
My current position is Digital Marketing Specialist for Simplex-IT, a NE Ohio MSP. I also update and maintain their SquareSpace website and help with print collateral. I’ve also used SquareSpace to create this website.
I have designed, built and maintained websites for several companies using PHP, WordPress and now SquareSpace.
I recently had the pleasure of teaching a web design class at The Cleveland Institue of Art.
